Drought tolerant pink paper daisies. Whenever I stumble across these sun-dappled wildlings in the paddock, I scoop them up and park them on my kitchen bench, their simple beauty a gift in itself.

Immortalised in one of my favourite photo sessions, these paper daisies represent the best elements of a Mother to me. Hardy, strong, tolerant yet so soft and beautiful.
